The authors who practice this kind of writing style are also officials in the government.
As a result, they might hide the real current phenomenon in order to please the emperor.
That is to say, those officials dare not to mention the real things happening in the countries, which incurs criticism to Tai-Ge Literature.
The reasons why Tai-Ge Literature exists results from many different factors. With a view to studying what Tai-Ge Literature contains, we study from its prosperous beginning. First, we study from two dimensions to know why it is so popular. Second, we study their works and poems to know its effects and get a full view about Tai-Ge Literature.
The following are the reasons why it is so prosperous , to begin with, from the vertical dimension, it is a kind of continuity from Qin Dynasty. We can know that Tai-Ge Literature is not a new literature style but something has been practiced for long by studying the works from Qin dynasty.
In addition, the horizontal dimension, we study from Ming dynasty, the ruling dynasty at that time . And in this part, we start from studying the emperor’s authority. The emperor’s authority plays an important role in Tai-Ge Literature. Last, we return to the officials writing Tai-Ge Literature.
They complete the works by their outstanding genius (literature asset ), which makes Tai-Ge Literature reaches its summit.
As to the purpose and effects of those works ,we discuss them by separating them.
By studying these separated works, we can know why they incur those negative criticisms.
