碩士 === 中華科技大學 === 土木防災與管理碩士班 === 104 === The meaning of "night market" is the market doing business activities at night. The hawkers sell food, clothing, electrical appliances, and groceries. People are able to find anything they need at night market so that night market becomes Taiwan unique culture which is very closely linked to people's lives. At the same time, night markets also attract many foreign tourists to come for getting the experience of Taiwan unique culture. There are some major night markets in Taiwan, such as Keelung Temple night market, Taipei, Shihlin night market, Feng Chia Night Market in Taichung, Tainan garden Night Market, Liuhe Night Market Kaohsiung. However, the night markets have a common that people and cars are crowded each other in an old and small street. In case of fire, fire engines are hard to arrive at the fire scene in the small street. The rescue firefighters are hard to extinguish the blaze and to evacuate people from the small street, too. This is a very important issue for us to make up a plan. We need to find out a plan to protect the people whose life and property at night market in the fire disaster. The plan designed to helps firefighters easily to rescue and evacuate people from crowded street. Taking Luzhou Miaokou Night Market as an example, the study uses the field surveys, on-site analysis of the basic factors of the roadway environment, roads, moving lines, buildings and other characteristics. Then, the study collects the views of a number of experiences and fire professionals, researches in case of fire, disaster and rescue methods. It also makes the rescue project considering the position of fire hydrant, fire engine, manpower deployment. After war game by fire brigade nearby, the study provides a more effective and possibility fire rescue plan with the analysis of Luzhou Temple old street. After the study, it is obviously to show the fire rescue plan can be stetted up effective with the connection and corporation of equipments and manpower under familiarity of the district. By adding rescue equipments, making plans in the old streets, and displaying war games, that makes people safer than old times.
