The author then transforms the gathered materials in her mind and integrates them into the practices of creation through her objective consciousness and aesthetic in art creation. The structure of this study is specified in the following paragraphs. Chapter one introduces the motivation, the objectives, the scope and the methodology of this study, followed by an explanation of terminology. Chapter two explores figure painting by introducing the origin and development of figure painting for people to roughly know its history, and then narrowing to focus upon female figure painting and looking at its different looks in clothing, figures and colors at different times of history. This chapter ends with a preliminary probe into the different characteristics and changes of traditional female figure painting in different dynasties. Chapter three describes how the author constructs her ways of thinking in manifesting a little happiness in her artworks. The author defines in this chapter the essence and implications of a little happiness using her observations and experiences of life. The definitions are then combined with her experiences in painting and materials collected from related books to form her theories of creation. This chapter includes three major parts of an exploration of implications in a little happiness, its elements and its forms of manifestation. Chapter four analyzes multiple artworks which manifest a little happiness. This chapter focuses primarily upon the practices of creation. Driven by the idea that themes of creative works come from the beauty of life, the author sorts out a variety of life experiences from seven major artworks as characteristics of contemporary females based upon which she creates her works. Chapter five is the conclusion. In this chapter, the author reviews and reflects on the gains throughout the course of conducting the study in hopes that they can serve as a foundation for her future advances in creation. 沈政乾 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 69 zh-TW
