This thesis focus on the cultural theology agenda of his “cities trilogy” includes Cities of God, Cultural Transformation and Religious Practice and The Politics of Discipleship. Ward thinks that the project of contemporary thought is seeing Christianity’s hope as a paradigm. He tries to make Christianity as a standpoint to change the cultural imaginary of contemporary. Though modern western society was looked as if being secular, it’s for a long time that the development of its society and culture was breed and influenced by Christianity. If Christianity desires to have his place in modern society, certainly need to rediscover the theological resources of Christianity itself. Xin-Yi Lee Ken-Pa Chin 李信毅 曾慶豹 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 84 zh-TW
