The introduction outlines the overview of impureland, and elaborate the reasons for choosing KPS as example. Chapter two clarifies the conceptual development of impureland, as well as the background and content outline of KPS before entering the formal discussion. Chapter three discusses the descriptions related to impureland in KPS, which refers to the Buddhist view of sentient beings and the material world. Chapter four and five explains the perception of Buddha and his wish of bodhisattva-caryā (本願: pūrva-praṇidhāna) in impureland by examining the significance of Śakyamuni’s transition into Buddha. Chapter six reveals that KPS values impureland and its advocate of transitioning into Buddha in impureland. The last chapter concludes the former chapters and introspects the work done in the research. YING-SHAN CHEN 陳英善 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 378 zh-TW
