| Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計暨藝術學院碩士班 === 104 === The little house and little flag are symbols of my life memories to represent scenes and persons respectively in my creation. There are three series including the remains of my memories, the temporary residence, and the outside of my sight. All of these describe my personal narratives during my growth through serene elements and the past interpersonal relationships through streaks between colors.
Pierre Nora (Pierre Nora，1931-) explained that “memory remains in permanent evolution, open to the dialectic of remembering and forgetting, unconscious of its successive deformations, vulnerable to manipulation and appropriation, susceptible to being long dormant and periodically revived” . The interpretation of the memory contributes to my works, which are based on the oblique roof of my maternal grandmother’s house in my childhood through my personal memories and other’s narratives.
I also believe that memories composed of not only shared stories but personal feelings and unconscious pieces. Chapter one includes my motivation, the range, and the interception of terminology on my works. Chapter two mainly discusses theoretical frameworks. Chapter three includes the concepts of my works. Chapter four provides the analysis on the techniques of my works. Chapter five is about my conclusion and expectations on future creation.
