Because of the development of injury prevention and emergency medical system, the cases of accidental injuries has been obviously declining recently. However, according to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital’s trauma annual report in 2014, there were 160000 accidental injuries, 80 percent of them are able to leave the hospital after undergoing medical treatment. And there are 15 percent of the patients are classified into TTAS of major trauma patients. We should pay more attention to these patients and discuss about whether the national resources are used effectively under the limited resources. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the cross-section and cross-sequent of medical resources utilization. The major trauma patients in National Health Insurance Research Database are used as the main research objects.
