Their social status is also getting higher and not a few female achievements have surpassed males. As times change, the number of female joining the army has increased as well. Especially, our national army in recent years has endeavored to push organizational change, and to implement the reform of the military conscription and mercenary system in parallel, year by year reaching the full mercenary final goal. This is the biggest reform of the military service system in Taiwan’s military history. Starting from 1991, our nation’s military service system firstly recruited female of voluntary military and in recent years the proportion of female joining the military career has been getting higher than before. In academic research, the discussion of soldiers’ intention of joining the military was comparatively rare, particularly the female joining the military. As female’s joining the military is getting more, to keep more of excellent female soldiers, the exploration concerning their willingness of staying at the military service is very important. Therefore, this study aims to explore the individual predisposition to staying at the military service for the female volunteer military officers, sergeants, and soldiers. The research subject is the female people at a specific air base for the volunteer military. The starting questionnaire design via literature review is used to carry out the first stage expert interview and the second stage KJ method of classifying factor level for building analytical hierarchy process (AHP) level structure, and designing out the final questionnaire to implement AHP analysis. The findings in the current research are that for the volunteer military female in this air base case the top three considering factors for staying at the military service are the lifelong retirement pension, the strong family members’ support, and the economic sources for the family. Thus, for the government planning the volunteer military for female staying at the military service, or implementing in the future the national army’s mercenary system, these vital factors must be taken as matching measures and references.
