碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 104 === The purpose of the study was to examine preschool teachers’ job stress, leisure activity participation and physical-mental health in public kindergartens in Kinmen. The study compared the effects of different background variables on preschool teachers’ job stress, leisure activity participation and physical-mental health. The correlation among job stress, leisure activity participation and physical-mental health. The participants in the present study were 165 preschool teachers in public kindergartens in Kinmen in the school of 2015. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation , and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that preschool teachres’ job stress was at medium-high level and “Work Load” wat the highest. The leisure activity participation was at medium level and “Leisure for Pleasure ”. The Physical-mental health was at middle-high level and“Negative Emotions and Mental Status” was the worst. Different background variables were significantly different on job stress, leisure activity participation and physical-mental health. Job stress had negative effects on physical-mental health. Job stress was correlated with physical-mental health. Job stress could predict physical-mental health. Some suggestions for several future research issues and implications for educational organization could help teachers cope with and reduce job stress.
