| Summary: | 碩士 === 南華大學 === 生死學系碩士班 === 104 === The purpose of this study is, through the practical working experiences,to explorethe present status of the funeraldirectorsin the grief counseling to the bereavedfamilies during the process of funeral ritual and is based on eightfuneraldirectorsdistributed in the region of northern, central and southern of Taiwan Province.
The methodof this study is the semi-structured interviews and theme analysis.
The research results are as follows:
(A) Thefuneraldirectors havethe basic concepts of grief counselingto the bereaved family, understand the grief reactionand the factors of affectedgrief, and have done the grief counseling work to the bereaved family in the practical working experience.
(B) Through the funeral ceremony and the process,the funeraldirectorsunderstand the precautions of grief counseling to the bereaved families.
(C) Understanding how the funeraldirectorsto cope withtheir owngrief and face the death.
(D) The development of professional connotations to the funeraldirectorsin the grief counseling.
According to the results of this study, the researcher tries todevelop a "Practice Handbook for the funeraldirectorsof the grief counseling to the bereaved families.（Draft）", so that the funeraldirectorsandthe relevant employees can take it for the reference.
