Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 教育領導與評鑑研究所 === 104 === This research is aimed at the relationship between special education teachers’ emotional labor and job satisfaction in Chiayi elementary and junior schools. This research uses the questionnaire survey procedure with the “ Emotional Labor Scale” designed by Mei-Li Chen in 2011 and the “Job Satisfaction Questionnaire." designed by Yi-Hua Cha in 2010 for special education teachers as the research tool. AS special education teachers of Chiayi elementary and junior schools in the 104th school academic year as on the sample of questionnaire. Finally, all the collected data was analyzed by statistics methods of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, etc.. the conclusions were as follows: 1.Concerning special education teachers’ emotional labor in Chiayi elementary and junior schools, it’s the highest score for "degree of interaction" and the lowest score for "emotional control of surface”. Overall, emotional labor is at the high-intermediated level. 2.Concerning special education teachers’ job satisfaction in Chiayi elementary and junior schools, it’s the highest score for “teaching work” and the lowest score for “work remuneration" and " advanced training for professionals". Overall, job satisfaction is at the high-intermediated level. 3.The different age , work class arrangement , position of job of special education teachers’ emotional labor in Chiayi elementary and junior schools had significant differences. 4.The different age , position of job of special education teachers’ job satisfaction in Chiayi elementary and junior schools had significant differences. 5.Significant differences found on job satisfaction as well as some variable conditions with level high, medium, low of emotional labor groups. 6.A positive correlation was observed between special education teachers’ emotional labor and job satisfaction. Based on the research conclusions, the researcher provided some specific suggestions to education administrative authorities, schools, special education teachers and future researchers for references.
