| Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 室內設計研究所 === 105 === In this paper, a discourse focused on creation of the educational space in Theater Design department and interaction between the academic and practical confirmation to commission the final dissertation. First of all, as a practitioner of interior decoration, the theater design itself is a challenge for my professionals. So it must be inspected in theater knowledge to construct a theoretical framework of theater space. This part mainly concentrated in the second chapter of literature review by different Chinese and Western culture of theater aesthetic. After all, the spatial elements of theater can be set up to the Department by its characteristics. And then, analysis and using theater elements to solve problems is career to an experienced designer. These activities of innovation are mainly included in the third chapter and contributed to functional play. Immediately, such functional considerations from the theater art, is really able to stand the practical test result in the fourth chapter to check out by the recorded pattern language and design elements. This part of the contribution should have reached conform to industry applicability. Finally, artistic contribution, functional setting and industrial application for this academic study, it should be reference to follow-up research in theater design to make standards.
