Description
Summary:碩士 === 高雄醫學大學 === 醫藥暨應用化學系碩士班 === 105 === A series of zinc (Zn) complexes bearing various pyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline derivatives were synthesized and their application in the ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of ε-caprolactone (CL) and L-lactide (LA) was studied. The catalytic results revealed that Zn complexes bearing electron donating group showed the greater catalytic activity in CL and LA polymerization. The possible reason of the higher activity of Zn complexes bearing electron donating group may be that the electron donating groups such as methyl, tert-butyl, methoxy groups would increase the coordination bond between nitrogens and Zn atom and then make the benzyl alkoxide easy dissociation, and further increase the rate of the initiation to CL and LA polymerization as well as the literature report.
