Since well-being is an important mental health index, the well-being of the adolescents with economically disadvantaged has aroused our notice. The purpose of this study was to construct models to examine the relationships among locus of control, attitudes toward money and well-being. To test the model, data from third wave of Taiwan Database of Children and Youth in Poverty (TDCYP) were used. The major findings were as followings: (1) significant gender difference been found on the money attitude and locus of control, except well-being; (2) family structure may not played the role in money attitude, locus of control and well-being; (3) age has effect on the well-being, locus of control, power prestige and anxiety; (4) significant difference in well-being between difference adolescents with pocket money; (5) locus of control were significant predictors of both money attitude and well-being; (6) internal locus of control was positively related with well-being and negatively related with money attitude; external locus of control was negatively related with well-being but positively related to money attitude; (7) money attitude showed negatively related to well-being; (8) effect of external locus of control can totally been mediated by money attitude; (9) effect of internal locus of control can totally been mediated by money attitude. Suggestions for further work in this field and limitations of this study were also discussed. Yuk-Ying Tung 董旭英 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 51 en_US
