The study adopted the investigation method, and the participants included directors of guidance, section chief of guidance, and school counselors among public junior high schools in Taipei. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistic method, one-way MANOVA, and paired-sample t-test. The findings were presented in the descriptions below: 1. There were different opinions of “be supposed to do” tasks among participants of alien variables. 1.1 There were no differences toward “be supposed to do” tasks of junior high school counselors among participants of different gender,ages and seniority. 1.2 The opinions toward “be supposed to do” tasks of junior high school counselors differed from genders, seniority, the scale of schools, education degrees, and the school positions. Especially in the aspect of coordination activities, participants in the following variables showed highly expectations 2. There were different opinions of “actual be implemented to do” tasks among participants of alien variables. 2.1 There were no differences toward “actual be implemented to do” tasks of junior high school counselors among participants of different ages, seniority, and education degrees. 2.2 The opinions toward “actual be implemented to do” task of junior high school counselors differed from genders, seniority. 3. There were different in the degree of importance of professional competencies.。 3.1There were no differences toward the degree of importance of professional competencies of school counselors among participators of different ages, seniority, seniority of school guidance, the scale of schools, education degrees. 3.2 The opinions toward “the degree of importance of professional competencies” of junior high school counselors differed from genders, majors. 4. There were different in the degree of correspondance of professional competencies.。 4.1 There were no differences toward the degree of correspondace of professional competencies of school counselors among participators of different genders, seniority, seniority of school guidance, the scale of schools, majors. 4.2 The opinions toward “the degree of correspondace of professional competencies” of junior high school counselors differed from ages,seniority, seniority of school guidance.
