碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 音樂學系碩士班 === 105 === This study aims at Liao Wen-Ho Puppet Troupe in Yunlin County, and focuses on Hakka Puppetry. The plays of Liao Wen-Ho Puppet Troupe include Hakka and Minnan puppetry; however, the former is more special than the latter. The Hakka dialect of Liao Wen-Ho Puppet Troupe is " Chao-An Hakka " , spoken by the least Taiwan's Hakka group Hakka .The leader, Liao Wen-Ho , tried to integrate the history, culture and background of Chao-An Hakka into the puppetry. He intended to disseminate the culture of Chao-An Hakka through the Chao-An Hakka puppetry. Five Chapters are included in this research. Chapter One, introduction, mainly described the motivation, motivation, objective, method, scope,and the structure. Chapter Two, probes the background and the development of Taiwanese puppetry. Chapter Three describes the history and culture of Taiwan Chao-An Hakka in Yunlin County. Chapter Four introduces Liao Wen-ho Puppet Troupe, analyzes its music, and describes the roles of puppets. Chapter Five summarizes the findings of the research.
