Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 地球環境暨生物資源學系環境教育與資源碩士班 === 105 === According to research, global warming caused by the increase of human activities pushed up global warming emissions of greenhouse gases year on year. International meatless day is one of the best ways to decrease greenhouse gas. This study purpose is to analyze the knowledge, attitude, of meatless day teaching activity on elementary school third grade students. The objects of study are four third grade classes of elementary school, total ninety-five students, and using Quasi-Experimental Design as method to take one of the two classes for the experiment group and the other two classes for the control group. All four classes take five meatless day courses. We arranged three power points slides of the teaching sessions and two vegetarian health DIY teaching sessions for Experiment group, meanwhile, the control group for five meatless day video self-study courses. This study took the "meatless day knowledge questionnaire " and "meatless day attitude scale" as measurement tool to do the pretest-posttest before and after the teaching activity, then learning effect was evaluated by statistical analysis. This study result proves first a significant improvement in meatless day knowledge and attitude courses on experiment group, and it’ s posttest result is better than pretest result. For control group, there’s no significant difference on meatless day knowledge but attitude, and it’ s posttest result is better than pretest result. Second, there’s significant difference between experiment group and control group in meatless day knowledge. Third, there’s no significant difference between experiment group and control group in meatless day attitude. The analysis proves significant correlation between experiment group and control group on rising meatless day knowledge and attitude. Conclusion of this study is not only very helpful for meatless day knowledge and attitude on students but also providing teachers and schools’ research reference in the future: First, teachers should improve the ability of planning and teaching meatless day issue of courses, to conclude and integrate teaching goal after courses. Second, school should make good use of community resources to develop environment education courses; help teachers and parents on meatless day related issues enrichment、encourage teachers to set up environmental education courses planning of the community、authority make an effort for funds up food education classrooms, to hold regular environmental education workshops or activities, to implement meatless day nutrition lunch. Third, advice for future research: to add control group without any experiment event as study object can let this research more complete. Keyword: meatless day, teaching activity, knowledge, attitude.
