Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 視覺藝術學系 === 105 === In this study, researcher creates art works by studio process and tries to discuss the resistance, researcher’s awareness and the changes during art making. Researcher analyses the art works and the resistance process by art-based research methods and phenomenological methods. The period of this study is for two months, the amount of art creating is twenty times and every time lasts for one hour. The materials are chosen free by the researcher. The record contains the researcher's feelings and thoughts about the resistance, the association with the art work, the researcher's reflection and the feedback from the witness. The resistance in the art making processes are divided into five stages: (a)issue (b)struggle (c)conflict (d)reconciliation (e) prospect. In the first stage “issue”, the researcher’s mind is full of anxiety and self-criticism and the researcher has lower self-confidence. In the middle stage is “struggle” and “conflict” stage. The struggle in the inner world comes out through the image and writing. This make the researcher making art more frequently. In the final stage is “reconciliation” and “prospect” stage. During art making, sometimes the researcher will feel anxiety and struggle. but the researcher can control it. The images become more harmonious. Researcher integrated there are four factors to reducing the resistance while making arts: free writing, materials selection, social support, and physical relaxation. The experience of awareness and reflection in the study. The researcher gives some suggestions for who are interested in exploring the art making resistance: the studio process, seeking witnesses and appropriating instructors, and make recommendations to this study.
