Abstract
Functional apparels is the new product of high technology in recent ten years. It is mainly designed to meet ergonomic and recycle metabolic requirement, such as moisture absorption and sweat releasing in order to refresh the wearers. In addition, our body temperature could be changed by functional apparels or sportswears to suit the ambient temperature changes. This kind of innovative functional apparels or sportswears is widely accepted by worldwide consumers year by year as the growing number of users. For instance, most of the products displayed in Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show 2016 are functional garments which are the trend and the future goal of world sport companies.
Limited by the expenditure on raw materials and human labor power, Taiwan is not as competitive as other developing countries. High added value products are the main focus in the sports industry in Taiwan to create profit and ensure the sustainable development of the companies. This is exactly what the famous sociologist, Robert Morton, called dysfunction. According to the information provided by Taiwan Textile Federation, Taiwan is ranked number three in the exportation of sportswear and the top one country which exports functional sportswear to Europe most. What’s more, over seventy percent of the functional sportswear is made in Taiwan. Thus, it could create enormous profit for Taiwan and become the future star in sports and functional apparels industry. Finally,Let this thesis shareing for everybody.
