This system contains microcontroller, battery information measurement circuit, battery protection device and Panasonic NCR18650B lithium -ion battery. The main function is to use the battery information measurement circuit to measure the battery’s current real-time information (including battery voltage, battery current, and battery temperature); the battery protection device is combined to use the battery information gained to protect the battery pack. With Arduino Mega 2560 as the microcontroller, this thesis used high-expansibility battery voltage measurement module, current measurement circuit and temperature measurement circuit to gain the battery information of battery pack of four connections in series and two parallel connections and applied battery protection device to provide the battery pack with over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and over-temperature protection.
