The building construction has developed distinctly different from the past due to the technology progression which increases the complexity of incidents nowadays. The rope rescue skills firefighters used to apply are no longer enough for the situation encounter today. Hence, firefighters must enhance their own rescue abilities in order to immediately correspond to complicated incidents, and therefore, protect the citizens’ lives and properties. The aim of this study is to discuss the rope rescue technicians adopted in High-rise Rescue. High-rise rescue indicates that the victims are in a higher location than the rescuers are, so the rescuers have to transport the victims down to a safer place. By utilizing expert interviews and field drills as research methods, this study could elevate the rope rescue abilities of firefighters or rescuers to meet the citizen's anticipations Firefighters work in a high-risk environment with heavy duty. It is vital to upgrade personal gear and fire safety equipment. Moreover, it is believed that if the conception of double-rope rescue can be introduced into the rope rescue outfit, the risks firefighters take could be largely decreased and the efficiency of rescue operation could be increased.
