The results of this research study shows that the waste has 0.112% moisture, 98.91% ash content and the 0.978% combustible content. The total content of Ga and In metal are 8,988 mg/kg and 113 mg/kg, respectively. The best Ga leaching conditions selected for this study is: 1N sodium hydroxide, 0.5 hour, 27°C, and solid/liquid ratio 3g/50ml. Under this condition, the leaching recovery rate of Ga can reach 100% and the recovery rate of In is 0%. The obtained best Ga leaching solution can be crystallized to obtain a high purity Ga crystal product. The remaining In-containing filter residue was further leachied with 1N hydrochloric acid for 0.5 hour, at 70°C, and a solid-liquid ratio of 1g/50ml. Under this condition, 82% leaching recovery of In can be achieved. This obtained In-containing leaching soultion can be replaced by zinc plate to obtain In replacement products.
