It investigates the differences of substitute teacher’s organizational commitment and job satisfaction based on the variation of their background. The research instrument was “the questionnaire of elementary school substitute teacher’s organizational commitment and job satisfaction”. The sample is the substitute teachers in the public remote elementary schools in Taoyuan City. The questionnaire survey was distributed to all substitute teachers in the public remote elementary schools in Taoyuan City. There are 140 valid samples in total. The analysis includes descriptive statistics, t test, and one-way Anova, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, Multiple Regression Analysis and the research results are described in the following: 1. The substitute teacher’s total organizational commitment in remote Elementary School belongs to more moderate degree. 2. The substitute teacher’s total job satisfaction in Elementary School belongs to more moderate degree. 3. The substitute teachers of remote elementary schools in Taoyuan City showed significant differences in organizational commitment by their gender, marital status, educational level. 4. The substitute teachers of remote elementary schools in Taoyuan City showed significant differences in toal teachers’ job satisfaction by their age, marital status. 5. The substitute teachers of remote elementary schools in Taoyuan City showed significant differences in many perception of teachers’ job satisfaction by their gender, age, marital status and educational level. 6. There was a positive correlation between organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the subutitute teachers of elementary schools. 7. The teacher’s organizational commitment could significantly predict toward the teachers’ job satisfaction.
