The information of the study was collected through questionnaires. The survey samples consisted of 538 students from six public and private senior high school in Chiayi area. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The following were the findings of the study: 1. The results of perceived parental support, self-concept and career decision-making of the senior vocational school students were all above-average. 2. Female students in senior high school had higher level of perceived parental support than male students. 3. Male students in senior high school had higher levels of confidence in "physical self" and "mathematical self" than female students. 4. Third graders in senior high school were significantly different in part of career decision-making over the other grades. 5. Third graders in senior high school were significantly different in part of self-concept; the lower were "mathematical self". 6. There was a low positive correlation between high school students’ perceived parental support and career decision-making. 7. There was a low positive correlation between high school students’ self-concept and career decision-making. 8. High school students’ perceived parental support and self-concept had low predictive power for career decision-making.
