Many studies assume that the "peer" have an impact on adolescents of their behavier and the development of personality. And if this impact will influence the decision of academic transition is the main point of our research. Objectives: 1. Influence of peer relationship on the academic transition and result of junior high school students. 2. Comparison the willingness and the result of further education of junior high school students. 3. The factors of the result of further education. Methodology: This research adopts the longitudinal study design, making use of the results from the Taiwan Youth Project (TYP) database’s questionnaires to understand if the peer relationship and other factors will influence the willingness and the result of further education of junior high school students. Results: 1. Good peer relationship affects the willingness of further education. 2. The willingness between first and third class are inconsistent, and there was a significant difference between the willingness and result. 3. There was no significant difference between the peer relationship and willingness of further education, but there was significant between senior high school and vocational school. Conclusion and suggestions: Peer relationship will affect the willingness of further education, but the result of academic transition will affect by school grades and family. In this stage, the behavior of peer group is more acceptable. Therefore, school authorities should be providing a favorable learning condition and creating a positive atmosphere, to avoid the students’ negative behavior.
