Content analysis is chosen as the method of the study. The study focuses on volumes 5-8 of the Chinese language textbooks of Han-Lin, Kang-Hsuan and Nan-Yi. The result of the analysis is as below: 1. The narrative type: Most of the narrative texts are narrative type. The other types of people description, object description, scenery description are less. In addition, the distributions of quantity for the narrative texts are uneven of Han-Lin and Kang-Hsuan. 2. The relation of text name form to text content Most of the text names form display clear scope to regulate the text content. The second display clear scope and author perception to connect with the text content. Three versions don't display author perception. 3. The text structure: Most of the text structure type is“narration”. The second text structure type is “topic with different things”and“total-fractional”. Finally, according to the research results, this study will provide textbook editors and future researchers relative suggestions.
