The questionnaires from the Environmental protection, Executive Yuan are used as the research tools and the data are analyzed by adopting SPSS 21.0, accompanying the qualitative research, all of which produce the following results. Some suggestions are provided for the reference of the government related.The results are summarized as follows. Only 25.1% of the junior high school students participate in environment-related activities. They seldom expose themselves to the information about environmental protection, with 30.1% who never get information about it. The first three ways in which they receive knowledge of environmental protection are from TV news, Internet and TV programs; the students’ preferences are watching videos, following the outdoor learning activities. The students’ scores of each performance are in the order of environmental knowledge(78.51%), environmental values and attitudes, environmental action skills, environmental awareness and sensitivity , while environmental action experiences is of the lowest(62.18%). The students’ background situations make each performance diverse, including gender, grade, family situations, time they expose to the information and extra-curricular activity participation. Environmental awareness and sensitivity is of high-positive correlation with environmental values and attitudes, as well as environmental action skills, while environmental values and attitudes is of high-positive correlation with environmental action skills. After the interview, the facts are found that both the proper arrangement of school curriculums and the emphasis of family education will help boost the environmental literacy of junior high school students.
