This study, first, develops the construct for SBE based on three dimensions (or attributes) — supply/demand driven (who), sharing objects (what), and sharing purpose (why) — and then constructs a more inclusive and exclusive classification schema according to the pluralism and Rich’s (1992) classification methodology. Because the classification schema developed in this study belongs to polythetic typology, this study adopts both qualitative approach and the quasi-quantitative MTMM as the conceptual tool to verify the reliability and construct validity of the schema. Adding to the final classification schema is constructed, a sequential classification flowchart is also been provided. To increase the value of the schema, finally, this research developed some strategic implications and research propositions for practical and academic guidelines. In concrete, the important research results as below: 1.The construct of SBE consists of three critical attributes — supply/demand driven (who), sharing objects (what), and sharing purpose (why) — is developed. 2.The tree-type classification schema may be regarded as the paradigm of sharing economy and achieve the purpose of generalization. 3.A sequential decision flowchart of classification submitted. 4.For further practical application and academic development, four strategic insights and five propositions presented.
