One of possible solutions is to transfer from the manual entry access control to an automatic entry access control with smart card. More concisely, the automated entry access control system connects to the computer platform through smart card reader which assists the security guards checking the legal identity, vehicle registration plate and leave application, which can effectively reduce communication between units and solve the manpower shortage problems. The introduction of automated entry access control can effectively manage the security of the camp entry that decreased the probability of occurrence of hazardous events such as going out without leave application or whistling. Thus, it has become an important security management issue for the current army camp control. This study introduces a two-factor authentication-based system for entry control system namely, entry access control cloud, to ensure the security of entry access control using information communication technology (ICT). Especially, the two-factor authentication system based on two important features, i.e., ‘you know, you have’ to prevent the security weak points and reinforce the authentication security. From experimental results show that our developed system can effectively solve the management problems caused by the manpower shortage of security guards in army camps.
