The goal of this thesis is to design a radiation pattern with a narrow beam in the vertical plane, a wide beam in the horizontal plane and being stable in 76GHz to 81GHz, which keeps the back-end FMCW radar system to calculate distances and angles precisely. The antenna array is composed of 4 rows of antenna sub-arrays, and each row of sub-arrays is composed of eight series fed patch antenna.
