Nearly 90% of those who are 65 and older have disabling hearing loss. Hearing aids are the best helper for hearing loss. In recent years, although the hearing loss population is rising, the hearing aid use rate has not grown. What's worse is the hearing aid market is oligopolist by a small number of brands around the world. Therefore, the problem of hearing loss is significant and there are waiting for an in-depth research on hearing aid industry to build a more complete industry knowledge system. According business model canvas of Osterwalder and Pigneur (2010), this study use interview method to construct business model of hearing aid. This study organizes the current business model of the hearing aid industry. For example, Target customer segments including early hearing loss market for young children, retirement market for the elderly, and hearing-impaired adults with job requirements. In addition, this study or organizes the Innovative element, including over the counter sale, internet sale and cloud adjustment service. The research finally adds those innovative elements to the current business model of the hearing aid industry to construct a hearing aid cloud service business model.
