The collected data were analyzed by independent sample t-test, one-way ANCOVA, and one-way ANOVA using SPSS 24 software for quantitative analysis. The results showed that: First, with the implementation of All-out Defense Education curriculum integrated into the community resources of this study, the experimental group students outperformed their counterparts on scientific literacy performance, later, there were significant differences in the self-developed scientific literacy assessment tool. Second, there was no significant difference on the attitude toward science between the two groups. Third, consider the background factors of students̕ gender, parental occupation, reading time outside of school. There is no significant difference among the students with different backgrounds on their performances of scientific literacy and attitudes toward science.
