People uses various ways to learn the language, through going to private language academy or self-study. But in all, they will essentially require a textbook. Many will bring into consideration the objective of learning to choose a suitable textbook. Hence, it is important for authors and teachers to find the best theme to expand on. The purpose of this paper is to design short-term Chinese language tourism materials for Korean learners. Therefore, the author will first explain the definition and characteristics of short-term teaching, and explore the predecessors'' views and importance on short-term teaching. This article compares and analyzes three short-term Chinese textbooks already available in the Korean market, and refer to these three textbooks to think about how to correct the drawbacks. Finally, the author will design short-term Chinese language travel material for Korean learners who want to come to Taiwan, and propose teaching plans, educational methods and teaching concepts. This study uses Korean short-term Chinese language tourism materials for Chinese language teaching, including the introduction to local culture in Taiwan. The focus of this article is on Taiwan, and hopes to design and introduce the content of textbooks based on Taiwan context. Taipei is used as a reference because it is the largest city in Taiwan and the place where Korean tourists are the most popular. The author plans to design travel materials for young people in their twenties and provide travel materials(information) for learners in Taipei for respective categories. For example, the most popular and must-go coffee shop for Korean travelers. The textbook hopes to provide new and practical materials to help young Koreans in their short-term travel in Taiwan.
