In the past, people acquired information through print media such as magazines and newspapers. Yet today, as people rely heavily upon mobile phones and computers, information is by degrees converted into digital format. Through sensing, scanning, and other techniques, old media print posters can be transformed into animated posters. Such a trend has not only contributed to the prevalence of digital platforms but also allowed artists to create new media art in a more diverse way. Although the use of animated posters is to grow by great leaps in the future, the artist believes that print posters are still of certain foothold and value. They are a form of traditional media that holds warmth and memories. This creation, therefore, is designed applying both print poster and dynamic projection. This creation of experimental interactive posters is based on the key concept— “sound visualization”. This series of posters using the common unit of sound and color, Hz, I seek to convert the impressive audio tones heard in my daily life into visual elements on posters, recording my own imagination and breakthroughs in life. With the application of scientific instruments, sounds are first computerized into numerical digits and then transformed into color codes. Digitalized, the sounds of everyday life are given new colors. The artist will be exploring related interactive artworks in historical documents while incorporating motion graphic into posters. At the same time, I hope to reflect upon my perception of things and attempts to view my surroundings in a different light. LIU, CHA-LIN 劉家伶 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 69 zh-TW
