Summary:Driving instructors education are since 2009 a comprehensive Yrkeshögskoleutbildning for three semesters of full-time study. This paper aims to shed light on what must and what can be included in a good Driving instructor education and proving a proposal for how this might look like. The goal is to create a new didactic approach to education. The result Is a “ball didactic” approach to education. The students are working under Johnson and Johnson’s method of “learning together” in problem-based cases aimed at the development-oriented skills and personal qualities that the prospective Driving instructor needs to master. The work has resulted in three study guides, one for each semester with associated rating templates and considerations for using them. Study guides describe to students what is in focus during the given period.
