Barry R. Bloom (born 1937) is an American immunologist known for his research on the immune response to infectious diseases, including tuberculosis, leprosy, malaria, and COVID-19. He is the Joan L. and Julius H. Jacobson Professor of Public Health, Emeritus in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases and the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H.
