Summary:ABSTRACT A 59‐year‐old woman with kidney failure and Parkinson's disease developed fever, rigidity, and cognitive decline after taking antipsychotics and the discontinuation of memantine and amantadine. Despite a high clinical suspicion of nosocomial infections (NIs), no evidence of infection was identified. Thus, neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) was highly suspected.
