Summary:There is no doubt that the reader of the novel stands on convictions that constitute a ground from which he proceeds in his readings of the fictional text. In addition to his cultural and cognitive armament, there must be sufficient knowledge of the thought in which the novel proceeds through heroes, characters, events and convictions. Perhaps the first of these convictions lies in the intellectual threads that move the protagonist or In another way, the events that embody the references from which the novelist proceeds, whether they are religious, ideological, or philosophical. From here, the researcher begins to search for the existential features of Ayoub’s novel by the novelist Hisham Tawfiq al-Rikabi, in which he alludes to this thought through the words and actions of the hero, as well as some of the events of the novel, leading to Manipulating the time course.
