| Summary: | This article proposes to build a bridge between archaeology and geolinguistics, by showing the parallelism of certain field data revealed by the two disciplines. Although archaeology lacks elements of intermediate contextualisation of artefacts, it nevertheless manages to show a structuring of the West Breton space into several sub-zones. This network is sometimes found in data from the Atlas linguistique de la Basse-Bretagne, illustrating very long-term cultural continuities. The two approaches could therefore draw on each other to provide complementary insights that would be impossible to obtain by their own means. |
