总结:This article paints a picture of the field of ludomusicology as it has developed since the late 2000s. A survey of the main monographs, collective publications, conferences and associations reveals that ludomusicology has developed as a sub-field of music studies, far removed from game studies. There is little interaction between these two fields, given the wealth of work in ludomusicology. The article also details publications in French, which are sparse. This context lends a certain importance to this Sciences du jeu journal issue, since it brings together researchers active in these two fields, as well as francophone and anglophone scholars. This is followed by a brief presentation of the seven articles in the issue, exploring three areas of research: 1) ludomusical aesthetics; 2) video game music techniques and technologies; 3) the heritage and culture of video game music.
