Metadata對於組織電子期刊之適用性探討 Metadata for Organizing Electronic Journals: Feasibility Study

期刊在學術傳播的生態中，具有預測學科未來發展、主題趨勢與記錄典範轉移的功能，對於學術圖書館而言，可說是館藏中最為重要的資訊資源。因此，如何兼顧紙本與電子期刊，並將其妥善地組織與整理是當前學術圖書館十分重要的任務。本文針對MARC、MARCXML、Dublin Core及MODS幾種常見的後設資料，探討其優缺點，並實際以電子期刊為例，分別採用上述後設資料加以描述並分析比較其間的差異，以了解後設資料用於組織期刊的概況。<br>Scholarly journal takes crucial part in predicting growth of discipline,evelopmen...
