Diiodido-bis{<i>N</i>-[2-(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]benzylamine-κ<sup>2</sup><i>N</i>,<i>P</i>}dicopper(I)

The one-pot template reaction between 2-(diphenylphosphino)benzaldehyde, benzylamine and copper(I) iodide yields the dinuclear copper complex (P∩N)<sub>2</sub>Cu<sub>2</sub>I<sub>2</sub>, as revealed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
