Summary:  Quranic revelation is a verbal communication between the Prophet and God which is in the communication model includes sender, recipient, purpose and channels of communication. Muslim scholars and some of the orientalists, offering a variety of communication models that can be investigated in the form of linear and nonlinear models. Linear models contains different elements of revelated communication and attempt to draw process of sending revelation. Some part of this models have a structural fault. nonlinear models also drawing the process of prophet soul ascending and take a different process for sending of revelation but ascending soul of prophet oppose with quran, traditions and communication principles. This type of models is also deficient and weak. This paper review the different models of communication and criticize them from quranic and hadiths point of view .
