Description
Summary:Spinoglenoid cysts are rare and can produce generalised shoulder pain. In the majority of instances, they result from a concomitant glenoid labrum tear and entrap the suprascapular nerve. Here, we describe the case of a 35-year-old male who experienced persistent pain in his right shoulder during overhead abduction and lateral rotation. Although the majority of the literature on the subject recommends surgical removal, our patient’s condition significantly improved following an ultrasound-guided suprascapular nerve block and following the aspiration of cystic fluid.
