| 要約: | The romance of chivalry is a genre rather at odds with the period. Nevertheless, forms of complete argumentative movements, marked by syntactic complexity and programming the revelation of information, can be discerned in Des Essarts’ translation of the Spanish series Amadís de Gaula, published between 1540 and 1548. The corresponding more or less extensive passages, set in characters’ speeches, are also found in the anonymous translation of the French books into German, published between 1569 and 1573. How is the prose of the chivalric narrative imbued with the inherited form of Latin oratory speech? A contrastive analysis of the use of linkage and syntactic-logical tension makes it possible to measure the relationship to the source texts, the linguistic constraints and the stylistic preferences of each translator. |
