Summary:This article presents the analysis of the main approaches to identification of antimotives and antimotivation to training activities in national psychological science, significance and topicality of studying them among present day students. The authors present contents of developed methodology for diagnostics of antimotivation to training among students of pedagogical university and the results of its pilot approbation. Based on the analysis of the diagnostic results it has been discovered that psychodidactic component of educational environment possesses the highest antimotivational effect on training activities of pedagogical university students compared to other components of educational environment (spatial-substantive, social and subject), as well as micro- and macro-environment. The most significant issues within the problem of antimotivation to training activities of pedagogical university students have been extracted, requiring further special study.
