A new karyotypic formula for the genus Amphisbaena (Squamata: Amphisbaenidae)

To contribute to the knowledge of chromosome evolution in Amphisbaena, we describe the karyotype constitution and the NOR location of Amphisbaena bolivica Mertens, 1929.
