Summary:Hydatid cysts are a zoonotic disease caused by the larval stage of Echinococcus granulosus. We present a series of four cases of primary renal hydatid cysts. Of these four patients, two underwent nephrectomy due to complete involvement of kidney, and two were treated by cystectomy. During the first 6 months of follow-up, no complications were reported, and all patients were doing well.
