| Summary: | In this paper we present Quirk-E, a visual quantum circuit simulator, addressing key challenges in quantum software development, including workflow integration, usability and interoperability. Quirk-E supports circuit creation from composition to simulation and export and is guided by cognitive models to reduce cognitive load. Empirical evaluations suggest improved task efficiency and enhanced usability compared to other tools.
