Thin-disk multi-pass amplifier for kilowatt-class ultrafast lasers

We report on an improved ytterbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet thin-disk multi-pass amplifier for kilowatt-level ultrafast lasers, showcasing excellent beam quality.
